Thomas Baker is a ceramic artist working with clay and wood. He trained in Kanazawa, Japan, under Seppo Iida Sensei at Hokuto Studio.

Now based in Nelson, New Zealand, Thomas works from a pottery studio he shares with his long-time friend and fellow potter, Jamie Smith. His practice is grounded in a deep respect for form, texture, and the quiet dialogue between material and maker.

Each piece is handcrafted by Thomas as a unique, one-off work.
