A smaller version of the Souvenir Floor Lamp. Made with traditional East Asian techniques of binding reed and paper over a form. The Souvenir Lamps explore the concept of spiritual gateways and how they symbolically mark a transition from the mundane to the sacred. Simple, pared down lines in the architecture help to elevate the paper illumination and create a central visual beacon.

Made with American cherry, kozo paper, and rattan. Each piece is dimmable to three brightness settings by a petite brass touch switch.
